ABOUT THE ARTISTS

T. Adamson (Playwright) (he/him/his) is a writer and theater-artist based in NYC. Plays include The Natural Horse (Clubbed Thumb's Summerworks Reading Series), The Straights (JACK, BAPF finalist), Endless Summer (Hunter College),Mermaiden; Or, The Monogamy (Spring Street Social Society), Gun City (Dixon Place), and House & Variations: A Naturalistic Family Drama (Dixon Place's HOT! Festival). T. is an alumnus of Fresh Ground Pepper NYC’s Playground Playgroup, Exquisite Corpse Company's Fall Writer's Lab, and Clubbed Thumb's Early Career Writers' Group. Heideman Award Finalist, Irv Zarkower Award, Rita and Burton Goldberg Playwriting Prize, Falco/Steinman Commission from Playwrights Horizons. MFA: Hunter College.

Corey Umlauf (Scenic Design) design work has been presented by Actors Theatre of Louisville, Emerson Stage, Field Art, and Hearts on the Wall. New York associate and assistant credits include work with The Public Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, Playwrights Horizons, Signature Theater Company, Lincoln Center, Primary Stages, Soho Rep, and Ars Nova. She has assisted on projects at The National Theatre (London), Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Alley Theater, Steppenwolf, Long Wharf, The Huntington, Goodspeed, George Street Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Dallas Theater Center, Woolly Mammouth, and Shakespeare Theatre Company. Corey is also the resident Associate Scenic Designer for the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Playwrights Conference. Sarah Lawrence (Costume Design) (she/her/hers) is a graduate of Parson's The New School for Design, a Brooklyn based artist, costume designer, and musician. While pursuing her design degree and creating her own sustainable hand-crafted fashion line (www.gravexsl.com), Sarah found her way into theater as Assistant Costume Designer for Thomas Bradshaw's Fulfillment produced by The Flea Theater in the fall of 2015. She has since designed shows such as Witness Relocation's The Loon (Dir Daniel Schaefer, 2016), New York Times Critics Pick Inanimate (written by Nick Robidou, Dir Courtney Ulrich, 2017), and Goodspeed Musical’s Cyrano (Dir Erica Schmidt, 2018); as well as performing in the freaky feminist folk music duo, Pretty Polly (@_prettypolly_). Sarah is thrilled to lend her abilities to the force that is The Straights.
