"Look At Me (Interpreted)"
A 24-hour performance piece

Open to the public on Tuesday from 6 - 10 pm and Wednesday from 1 - 5 pm.
Free to attend. 

"Look At Me" is a score for a durational piece calling for two Black male artists to be in a space and creating for an uninterrupted 24 hours, written by Jacolby Satterwhite for Clifford Owens' "Anthology" series, LaMont Hamilton and Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste depart from Satterwhite's score’s initial impetus, which focuses on the perceived neglect within critical dialogue regarding black male-on-male gaze in art history, and will be exploring nuances of process, collaboration and the limits and ephemerality of objecthood.

This is be the first in a series of performances for The Performance Project at University Settlement showcase of "Five on the Black Hand Side/Dapline!" on Thursday July 30th, Friday July 31st and Saturday August 1st at 8pm at University Settlement.
