CREATIVE TEAM
JESSICA ALMASY is in the MFA playwriting program with Mac Wellman and Erin Courtney at Brooklyn College. She is a founding member of The TEAM. She is an avid audiobook actress (www.audible.com) and works in theatre, film, TV, and commercials. Her plays include RIDG LAPS at Dixon Place (March 2013) GEORGE WASHINGTON SLEPT HERE (now called BLOODY SHOW) at the Bushwick Starr Reading Series (April 2013), her text appeared in the installation / performance art premiere “A Marriage: 1 (Suburbia)” by artists Nick Vaughn + Jake Margolin at HERE (May 2013). BFA, Tisch / MFA, Brooklyn College. ConocoPhillips is a heretofore ultimately unknown experimental Canadian playwright whose works were found when a dilapidated Super Stop + Shop on the outskirts of Ontario exploded, where she had worked as a cashier, + where her playscripts were buried (under aisle 13, “spices”). Investigations into her life reveal that her work did not resemble what was considered “popular” “Canadian” “culture” + therefore, could not or did not receive the proper funding or opportunity to reach its public. Conoco was a great lover of the arts, but mostly as they manifested themselves in the experience of day to day life, especially the typically undocumented, especially in the suburbs. CHLOE TREAT is a theater artist with extensive dance and movement training. A Tisch graduate, she is focused on directing and choreographing with the occasional design job thrown in the mix. She just finished designing a production of Othello with The Kinetic Theater Ensemble and is working on directing/choreographing an original dance piece, Lunatic, in August. CARLTON CYRUS WARD is a dancer, circus performer and actor from the woods of northern Vermont. He moved to New York City 14 years ago to study theater at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is currently performing with Third Rail Project in “Then She Fell”. Carlton was recently in The Artigiani Troupe’s “That Beautiful Laugh” and Phantom Limb’s “69 S.” at BAM. He also works with Circus Amok, Becky Radway Dance Projects, and El Gato Teatro. In the past he has worked with Christopher Williams, Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects, Ateh Theater Company, Proto-type Theater Inc., Freefall, Alex Bag, Maureen Fleming, and Gary Indiana. In his free time he has also been known to direct and choreograph. |
