JACK is a performance venue founded in 2012 by Alec Duffy and a small group of co-founders in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.  Our mission is to expand access to the arts by programming cutting-edge work that reflects the diversity of the city and by keeping our performances affordable.  We work with sub-curators to include a variety of perspectives in our programming. Over the past two years, we have presented work by Daniel Alexander Jones, Royal Osiris Karaoke Ensemble, William Burke, Imani Uzuri, Eisa Davis, The Illustrious Blacks, Ann Liv Young and others.  OBIE-winning theater company Hoi Polloi is our company in residence.
