After seven years in our beloved first home,
JACK is moving!
With our lease coming to a close in our first home, JACK is moving to a new, larger space, only four short blocks away from our current location. With this move, we have, for the first time:
- Backstage dressing area
- Audience lobby
- Administrative office
- Increased audience capacity
We'll still be a DIY space with the same energy and heart, but now we’ll have more room to share with artists, neighbors and the growing JACK team.

HELP US RAISE the final $10,000!
We are thrilled to take this next step but we cannot do so without you. We're seeking your support to turn this raw industrial space into a thriving home for the arts. Your donation will help us finish the construction process, which includes installing a lighting grid and a fire alarm system.
Together, we can expand our mission to fuel experiments in art and activism and bring about a just and vibrant society. It all starts today, with your contribution. #JACKmoves Instagram: @jackartsny Twitter: @jackartsny Facebook: jacknewyork |
WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2012 in Brooklyn by theater-maker Alec Duffy with a diverse group of co-founders, JACK is a performance space with a mission of fueling experiments in art and activism, collaborating with adventurous artists and our neighbors to bring about a more just and vibrant society. Part of this collaboration is to support emerging artists at a crucial stage of their development, providing them the platform of our 50-seat performance venue. We also hold space for discussion around issues critical to our community, especially around racial justice. Jordana De La Cruz and Alec Duffy currently lead JACK as Co-Directors.
