CALL FOR ARTISTS

JACK is seeking submissions for our Winter-Spring Season 2018, running from January to June.  We invite dance, theater, music, and multi-genre artists to share your visions for a concept that you would like to present at JACK.  This could be one performance only, a festival you curate, a multi-week run, and everything in between.

JACK’s mission is to fuel experiments in art and activism, collaborating with adventurous artists and our neighbors to bring about a more just and vibrant society.

Presenting at JACK involves the following agreements:

  • Box office split, 60% to the Artist : 40% to JACK.
  • Ticket prices set at $15 or above.
  • Artist secures own team for tech crew, lighting, sound, and video needs.
  • Artist has five hours of complimentary rehearsal time per show with a maximum of 15 hours total.
  • Artist can schedule additional rehearsal hours at $17 per hour.
  • A JACK team person will: orient artist before first rehearsal, serve as point-person(s) and run box office and bar during the event(s).
  • Marketing | JACK promotes all season events through: press releases, JACK website, Facebook event page, an e-blast to our mailing list of over 1,800, and our season poster and postcard distribution.
