In writer Trish Harnetiaux’s alternate universe of a play, Judd Nelson and Anthony Michael Hall were not the first actors cast in John Hughes' iconic movie The Breakfast Club. Initially, Bender and Brian were the stars. This is the story of their fall from grace and the lives they went on to live together.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Trish Harnetiaux is a Brooklyn-based playwright. Recent plays include Tin Cat Shoes (Clubbed Thumb Summerworks/Playwrights Horizons Superlab), How to Get into Buildings (New Georges, Soho Rep Lab), Welcome to the White Room (Theatre of NOTE, Glass Mind Theatre), and If You Can Get To Buffalo (Incubator Arts Project, Son of Semele, The Acme Corporation) all published by Samuel French. Her cruise-ship play We Are Not Well (Clifford Odets Commission) was produced last Spring at The Lee Strasberg Institute/NYU. She has been a resident at MacDowell, The Millay Colony, SPACE at Ryder Farm, and Yaddo. She was a member of the Ars Nova Play Group and the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab.
